Academic level
Courses match the analytical level of lawyers and academically trained legal professionals, with sources, legislation and case law included in the materials.

During the development of every course, a lawyer or academically trained legal professional reviews the relevance, level and fit with legal practice.
Assessment and certificate
Distance learning always concludes with an assessment. A certificate only follows after full participation or a sufficient assessment result.
LearnWize learning platform
Distance learning runs on the LearnWize platform: personal accounts, progress tracking, assessments and certificates are demonstrably recorded.
Advance publication
For every course we publish the target group, form, level, duration and the legal or non-legal character of its components in advance.
Evaluation and improvement
Every course is evaluated on content, level and practical relevance. Improvement points are recorded and followed up.

EU AI Act Masterclass for lawyers
Apply roles, risk classification, obligations, governance and documentation requirements from the EU AI Act in concrete client and practice files.
AI, GDPR and DPIA/FRIA for legal practice
Assess AI applications under the GDPR: DPIA and FRIA, processor relationships, data minimisation, transparency and supervision.
AI, professional ethics and confidentiality
Test AI use against confidentiality, core values, duty of care, file management, source verification and client communication.
AI Foundations: language models for lawyers
Legal part: relevant AI rules, confidentiality, GDPR and duty of care. Non-legal part: working safely and effectively with prompts and output verification.
Advanced AI workflows in legal practice
Deploy AI for contract analysis, legal research, file structure and compliance workflows, including evidence position and documentation.
AI law and supervision update course
Translate current developments in AI regulation, supervision, guidance and case law into advisory and litigation practice.
Forms of education
We offer education in four forms. Fixed agreements on attendance, assessment and certification apply to each form.
In-person
Physical sessions from half a day up to two days, with check-in and check-out and interactive formats. In principle a maximum of 25 participants.
Live webinar
A maximum of half a day per session, with a personal participation link, moderator and interaction moments. In principle a maximum of 50 participants.
On-demand module
Continuously available via LearnWize. The average time investment is measured and published in advance; the module concludes with a mandatory assessment.
E-learning
Learning path with mandatory components, interim knowledge questions and a final assessment. Larger topics are split into separate modules.
Fixed conditions per course
Every course edition is published in advance with target group, level, form, duration and the legal or non-legal character of its components.
For mixed courses, legal and non-legal components are split in advance and stated separately on the certificate.
Distance learning always concludes with an assessment. Without a sufficient result no certificate is issued.
In-house and tailor-made training for law firms follows the same quality safeguards as the open offering.
A written complaints procedure applies, with independent handling and fixed terms.
Frequently asked questions
Do these courses provide NOvA training credits?
Embed AI has applied to the Netherlands Bar (NOvA) for recognition as a training institution. As long as that recognition has not been granted, we do not award training credits and do not state them with courses. Once recognition is granted, we will publish per course in advance the number of credits and the legal or non-legal character.
Who are these courses for?
Primarily for lawyers and academically trained legal professionals. The course materials, case work and assessments are set at that level. In-house counsel and compliance professionals with a legal background can also participate.
How does assessment work for on-demand courses?
Every on-demand module and e-learning concludes with an assessment in LearnWize, with at least ten questions. The assessment only becomes available after the full module has been completed. A sufficient result leads to a certificate; there is a maximum of one resit with new questions.
Can a course take place in-house at our firm?
Yes. Every course line can be delivered as an in-house or tailor-made training for a law firm, in-person or live online. Tailor-made training follows the same quality safeguards as the open offering, including a programme, duration and assessment defined in advance.
How is the time investment of on-demand courses determined?
The average time investment of every on-demand module is measured in advance with test participants, including at least one lawyer or academically trained legal professional, and then published with the course information.
What happens with my feedback or complaint?
After every course we ask participants for an evaluation. A written complaints procedure applies, with an independent complaints officer, an acknowledgement within five working days and a decision term of four weeks.
